Dr. Seher SAYIN was born in 1970. She studied in Ege University Faculty of Dentistry between 1986 and 1991. In 1992, she started work as a military physician in the Naval Forces Command. She started her doctorate in orthodontics at Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 1998 and completed her education in 2002. In 2002, she presented her doctoral dissertation, which was later, in 2004, published as 'original research' in the journal of The Angle Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, one of America's most respected periodicals, as a declaration at the International Orthodontics Congress. She worked as an orthodontist at Kasımpaşa Naval Hospital in Istanbul between 2002 and 2009. During this time, she worked as a part-time orthodontic specialist in leading private clinics and hospitals in Istanbul. In 2009, she received the 'Great Minds of the 21st Century Proclamation Plaque' certificate from ABI (American Biographical Institute, Inc.) in the field of 'Maxillofacial Orthopedics and Orthodontics'. She worked as a clinical supervisor at Aksaz Military Hospital in Marmaris between 2009 and 2010. Dr. Sayin's main fields of interest are maxillofacial orthopedics and distraction osteogenesis, orthognathic surgical applications. She has been sharing her knowledge and experiences with her patients in her own clinic in Marmaris since 2010.
